Physio From Home was founded by a qualified physiotherapist with over seven years of experience working within the NHS. During that time, a clear and frustrating pattern emerged – patients waiting weeks, sometimes months, just to be seen for conditions that could be assessed and treated far sooner.
The lengthy waiting lists, the barriers to access, and the growing strain on NHS services all pointed to one thing: there had to be a better way to reach people who needed help. That belief became the driving force behind Physio From Home.

The Spark – COVID-19 Pandemic
When the pandemic hit, access to healthcare became incredibly difficult. GP surgeries were overwhelmed, physiotherapy waiting lists grew even longer, and millions of people were left struggling with pain and injuries with nowhere to turn. It was during this time that the idea for Physio From Home was born – a way to bridge the gap and bring physiotherapy directly to people who needed it.

What started as an idea became a reality. Physio From Home was officially established with a clear mission: to make physiotherapy more accessible and affordable for everyone. The early idea was to focus purely on virtual consultations with patients, to help make physiotherapy more accessible during the COVID-19 pandemic.
